Cuba

These photographs made primarily in Havana, Cuba, are a part of my greater body of work from “Scenes From Civic Life”. Cuba is a cornucopia of the human experience. It is paradoxical in its vibrancy and rich social life yet challenged by external forces. The fortitude, strength and richness of life on the island bespeaks the strength of its people and their ability to improvise and survive in the face of its challenges.
